Growing up, we devoured comic books. Some made their way into plastic sleeves because we stupidly thought they’d make us rich, and some got torn to shreds as we flipped through the pages at a furious rate. We assume Mike Alcantara had a similar passion, only he eventually turned his comics into one of a kind pieces of art. Each of his Comic Collages is made from 100% old comics. There’s no marker, paint or anything else used in them besides old stories of superheros getting themselves out of sticky situations. They’re a high art way of helping us remember the days when we flew through pages of the Uncanny X-Men.
