In the spirit of complete honesty, we’ve put on a few pounds since the end of January. It’s actually a lot cheaper (and more fun) to curl pint glasses of Fat Tire than it is to curl with a trainer and it shows in the area of our midsections that, oddly enough, used to be described in beer quantities. Getting to the gym and/or seeing the trainer can be time-consuming, which is why we’re excited about the Pear Sports Personal Trainer. The palm-sized device individually tailors workouts to you based on the recommendation of Pear’s network of world-class coaches. It will work with the music you already have and, more importantly, will give you positive (or necessary) words of encouragement to get the most out of your workout.
