If we were only able to grab a couple things from our burning building, you can bet one of them would be our flatscreen TV. What can we say, we’re all a bit addicted and consumed with getting fixes of HBO original programming and Netflix offerings. The issue with the burning building scenario is leaving our Roku 2 behind. Luckily in 2012 we won’t have to make that decision thanks to the Roku Streaming Stick (also because—hopefully—our house won’t burn down). Our favorite streaming TV device will be ditching its boxy looks in favor of something akin to a USB flash drive. Just pop this little guy in the MHI-enabled HDMI port on your TV and you’ve got everything you love about your Roku (the built-in WiFi and memory) connected. Plus, one remote is all you need to control your TV and the Roku Streaming Stick, which is something simple toss in your pocket as you run from the house.
