Much like Pharrell Williams with trucker hats or Johnny Depp with wrist wear, J. Crew is single-handedly ushering Timex into the 21st Century of cool with all of their recent collaborations. From the Camper to the Vintage Field Watch (and now the Andros), J. Crew is putting American made Timex watches back at the top of the must-have list. And yeah, we know that J. Crew isn’t exactly doing it for free (there’s a bit of a markup), but even $175 isn’t exactly what we consider bank breaking for a watch that could easily be the first cousin to a Rolex. Water resistant up to 100 meters and outfitted with a quartz analog movement and functional bezel, it’s a dive-style watch that will look good even if you never get it wet.
