True Grit

They say to never judge a book by its cover, but if you’re telling me that if you didn’t know a thing about the movie True Grit (say you were born yesterday and progressed rapidly in age) you still wouldn’t immediately purchase this Blu-Ray/DVD Combo pack based solely on the cover, well then you sir are a liar (or very thrifty).  I mean rifles, waxed mustaches AND an eye-patch – game, set, match this Blu-Ray is already on its way to your pad.  And while this method can often get you in trouble, this time the movie actually lives up to the kick-ass cover.  The Coen Brothers stepped in and took this classic and added their usually magic along with the likes of Josh Brolin and churned out a feel-good Western – if you’re idea of “feel-good” is the constant feeling a drunken gun fight will erupt at any moment.
