Created in 2005 for Faluda Tires to torture test a new obscene set of wide tires (25/65/36), the Maybach Excelero is just as much Batmobile as it is super luxe Mercedes Benz. With an Esacalade-ish curb weight and a face so menacing that even Christian Bale cowers in its presence, it’s one bad mofo. What are you getting with your one-off, have to be Bruce Wayne or Zuckerberg rich to afford it $8mil car? A twin-turbo V12 engine that outputs close to 700 hp and over 750 ft-lbs of torque. With a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds it’s not as fast as a Veyron, but it’s not as slow as your submarine either. The Vader Rocket also whipped around the Nardo test track at 218mph, which is – for the record – faster than the Ferrari Enzo. It won’t destroy planets, but it will murder a fair bit of pavement.
