When it comes to cars that break all the boundaries in the realms of performance, design, possibility and cost, look no further than the performance driving machines that roll out of the McLaren livery to check all the boxes. Their latest–the McLaren Sabre–checks all of the boxes and then some. The limited-edition red, white and black tarmac-trouncing demon was inspired by their Vision Gran Turismo Concept yet still outputs 824 horsepower and 590 lb-ft that enables a top speed of around 218 mph, which–in case you weren’t paying attention–makes it McLaren’s fastest non-hybrid, two-seat, street-legal car to date. While there are still certainly a number of details about the upcoming McLaren under wraps, just the silhouette and the performance specs have us hungry to learn about–and drive!–the McLaren Sabre Supercar. This is, of course, assuming it ever gets put into production for more than the “already reserved” 15 units that were slated for production. We can all hope.
