New Legend Scout LII-SIX

New Legend Scout LII-SIX
While there are certainly no shortage of great vintage trucks produced back in the day, the International Harvester Scout is always near the top of our list because of the unique touches that separated it from the pack. When it comes to restomods of classic Scouts, few shops are doing it better than New Legend 4×4. Following in the footsteps of their previous hits like the LSII-Three and the LS800-Two is the pristine New Legend Scout LII-SIX you see here. It might have all the exterior style and swagger of the 1978 Scout II it was built from, but underneath that fresh coat of paint lies an absolute beast just waiting to be unleashed. We’re talking about a GM 6.2L LS3 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and fitted with an Atlas II transfer case–along with a custom exhaust, Dynatrac Dana from and rear axles and a new Outrider chassis with 4 link coil suspension. You can’t have all that power and performance in a vehicle you don’t actually want to drive, so New Legend upgraded the interior with new insulation for both sound and heat, Corbeau seats, fully-integrated electronic factory style gauges, 6-point roll cage and a Focal Audio system with Alpine Amp. In other words, it’s all the modern performance and convenience you’d get from a brand new truck, it just looks a helluva lot cooler.
