Reebok ‘Ghostbusters’ Ghost Smashers Sneakers

Reebok is continuing their recent trend of film-inspired collaboration sneakers this year. All it takes is one look to know these sneakers are straight out of Ghostbusters. In order to create the Reebok Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers Sneakers they started with the only silhouette that would work–the popular Alien Stomper Sneaker from that other iconic film franchise. From their, the Velcro strap classic leather sneaker got a worn, weathered look “as if you’ve gone into battle.” Add to that a hazard tape graphic across the Reebok branding on the Velcro strap, Ghostbusters logo on the tongue and, most importantly, a Slimer green “pump” on the back with red, green and blue “tubes” connecting it to the shoe. This isn’t a pair of kicks you’re going to be wearing everyday, but if you’re a fan of the classic film they check all the right 80’s nostalgia boxes. Reebok Ghostbusters Ghost Smashers Sneakers will be released on Friday, October 30th at 11pm.
