Sonos Just Released Better Versions of Our Favorite Speakers

There’s no denying the fact that Sonos makes some of the most powerful, stylish and well liked audio hardware on the market. We were already big fans of the Play:5 speaker, Playbase soundbar and the Sonos Sub. All those options still do their jobs well these days, but that hasn’t stopped Sonos from updating them with even more power and tech. The new soundbar, Arc, is their first to support Dolby Atmos and includes an impressive 11 drivers total for immersive sound. The Five capitalizes on the new Sonos S2 update coming this year and has increased memory and processing power. The 3rd Generation of the Sonos Sub includes the same Sonos S2 update prep with increased memory and processing power, along with two Class-D digital amps and automatic equalizing to balance the bass with other paired speakers. All three of the new pieces of Sonos hardware will be available everywhere on June 10th with prices between $499 – $799.
