We’ve been patiently waiting to check out Guy Ritchie’s latest heist film The Gentlemen ever since we first saw the trailer at the end of last year. The wait is officially over because, much like quite a few other films on the horizon, the theatrical release was scrapped in favor of making the film available online right now. For fifteen bucks–which is cheaper than seeing it in theaters anyway–you can own it on digital HD direct through Amazon Prime Video. Just to recap–The Gentlemen sees Ritchie going back to his British caper film roots to tell the story of a drug lord trying to get out of the game by selling his empire outright to a family of billionaires and, well, it doesn’t quite go as planned. Even if only Ritchie was involved we would watch it for the Lock, Stock and Snatch vibes, but it has an incredible ensemble cast (Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant) that makes it even better.
