Polestar Precept Electric Concept Car

Polestar Precept Electric Concept Car

There was nothing wrong with Polestar automobiles when they were still the performance arm of Volvo, but the vehicles got a lot more interesting after Polestar was spun off for cars like the Polestar 1. Polestar’s latest electric concept car is called the Precept. It’s going to change everything you thought was possible in the car of the future. Like other electric options and concepts, there’s a sleek exterior and an interior with the ubiquitous digital, adjustable dashboard, enormous tablet display in the center of the console and a glass roof fit for taking in the night sky or sunrise. The Polestar Precept sets itself apart in the way it handles all those things you take for granted. A human-machine interface (HMI) with eye-tracking that adjusts the different in-car displays depending on where you’re looking and hand proximity sensors that adjust the displays before you even touch them. Interior construction with a 3D knit composite fabric made from 100% recycled PET bottles and a nylon made from discarded fishing nets. It’s as innovative in the tech as it is in the organic materials, and it’s going to be one helluva ride once it hits production.
