In case you haven’t binge-watched every chef show and food documentary on Netflix, René Redzepi is one of the world’s greatest living chefs. His renowned restaurant Noma was voted Best Restaurant in The World four separate times in the beginning of the aughts, and many people had life-changing food experiences while dining there. Noma closed for a brief period of time to relocate–this is what led to Noma Mexico, the popup spot in Tulum they visited during the tacos episode of David Chang’s Ugly Delicious–but they’ve finally reopened. Thanks to Gessato, we can all take a peak inside the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) designed restaurant that has already begun winning awards. With vaulted ceilings, enormous windows for plenty of light, thoughtfully appointed spaces and enough exposed brick and wood to make any purist happy, this is a space that will be delighting diners for years to come–if you can secure a reservation.
