The Swatch brand of affordable watches bowed back in 1983 to save the prestigious but struggling SMH, or what would become known as the Swatch Group (the parent company of the likes of Omega, Blancpain, Longines, and Hamilton), from an untimely death. The line of fashion-focused affordable quartz watches brand “Swatch” or “S Watch” has now sold in the hundreds of millions of units and stands as an iconic brand. The new Bau Collection celebrates the 100th anniversary of German Bauhaus design with 25 different models inspired by art. From wacky to sporty and everything in between, the line boasts different sizes and prices, as well as quartz and automatic movements.
