The Air Max 1 is an iconic running shoe that easily qualifies as a hip lifestyle footwear staple. Now, the brand has created a “Sketch to Shelf” Air Max 1 pack that nods to Tinker Hatfield’s design before its release back in 1987. The very aesthetic comes straight from Hatfield’s work. The first model has black and white “drawing board” marks on the leather that actually look like paper. The second model shows red and grey sketch marks as if they were done by hand directly on the shoe. Both shoes pay homage to Hatfield’s brilliant work and pull off originality in spades. The “Sketch to Shelf” Air Max 1 pack is comprised of both models but will sell separately at select retailers like Japan’s ATMOS.
