We don’t normally jump on the Hollywood memorabilia auction bandwagon, but this sale from GWS Auctions includes too many great pieces are all affordable as of this writing. Marlon Brando’s personally owned Rolex Datejust engraved with Vito’s and MB on the caseback that he got after his 1973 Oscar win is going for just over four grand. Paul McCartney’s personal copy of the Beatles debut album Please Please Me and his signed Fender Squier Stratocaster are up for sale. Michael Jackson’s white “Smooth Criminal” fedora is an option. There’s also plenty of jewelry from Prince, the prop shotgun from Terminator 2, Will Ferrell’s U.S.A. ski suit from Blades of Glory, Walt Disney signed prints, James Gandolfini track suits from The Sopranos, signed contracts, tour and movie posters, and the list just goes on and on. If you have ever wanted to own a unique piece of Hollywood or music history, you’ll probably find a few things you want in this auction.
