Dorothy’s Latest Poster Reimagines Influential Electronic Albums as Postage Stamps

UK-based studio Dorothy has always impressed with their unique, information-heavy posters. But it’s the musical ones that we’ve always found most interesting. Adding to the likes of the USA Song Map, History of Dance Music and Rave Culture, and the History of Hip-Hop Blueprint is this Stamp Albums: Electronic poster you see here. Over five decades of influential and exciting electronic albums were narrowed down to their 42 favorites before being reimagined with new artwork as a collection of stamps. Each album stamp in the collection has a graphic inspired by the album or its tracks, date of release, label and running time. What albums are on the poster? Kraftwerk’s Autobahn. Nine Inch Nails’ Pretty Hate Machine. Brian Eno’s Ambient 1: Music for Airports. Daft Punk’s Homework. Gary Numan’s The Pleasure Principle. The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land. And those are just a few of the 42 incredible albums that you’ll find on the poster. Dorothy even went so far as to curate an Electronic Stamp Album Playlist on Spotify so you can listen along while finding your favorite pieces on the poster.
