SanDisk & Micron’s World’s First 1TB MicroSD Cards

In the same week when foldable expansive smartphones are hitting the interwebs, another piece of tech hardware will pack more into something that’s actually smaller. Both SanDisk and Micron just introduced the world’s first 1TB microSD cards, which one-up the 1TB SDXC card released by Lexar just a little while ago. Think of them as the Ant-Man of the digital storage world, going places a regular SD card can’t. Both versions of the dinky powerhouse are A2 certified, therefore usable in some smartphones for gobs of photo and video that your fingers won’t be able to keep up with. SanDisk’s card will go on sale in April of this year at a price of $449, while details on Micron’s version have yet to be announced. If you drop the funds on this Liliputian bad boy, just try not to sneeze while holding it.
