Western Digital, by way of SanDisk, just unveiled the SanDisk 1TB SDXC Card at the Photokina conference in Cologne, Germany. It’s only a prototype at this point, so there’s no word on price or availability. With that said, you can store a whole helluva lot of photos and 4K/8K on a flash card that’s the same size as some of the external hard drives we’re still using, so we fully expect this behemoth to go into full production in the very near future.
