What do you get when Chicago-based Federal Moto takes a limited production 1983 Honda CX650 Custom bike and reworks the hell out of it? You get the Two Scoops that looks like a two-wheeler plowed into a Good Humor truck. Lead builder Michael Mueller got a hold of the rare bike and was inspired to build a supermoto-style bike instead of the cruiser the CX650C was intended to be. This required total commitment. The full beans rebuild meant a thorough engine overhaul, new custom bodywork, and parts upgrades that would make the Kardashians jealous. A new subframe, wheels, forks, brakes, rear hubs, grips, footpegs, handmade exhaust, and wiring/electronics were all added, just to name a few. Our favorite aspect might just be the subtle and short but artistic brass-screened velocity stacks at the back of the engine. To top things off, the Two Scoops’ mint and peach colorway might seem like a kooky choice, but the scheme works wonderfully, calling the lucky owner to blast around like summer might never end.
