Matthew Weiner looks to follow up the success of Mad Men with his latest series, The Romanoffs, a new show on Amazon that follows the supposed descendants of a Russian royal family, wherever they may be around the world. Mad Men fans will see a lot of familiar faces, as Weiner enlisted the likes of Christina Hendricks and John Slattery once again. Rounding out the cast is a slew of big names—Diane Lane, Aaron Eckhart, and Paul Reiser, among others. The show arrives with a good bit of hype, though early reviews—at least on Amazon—are less than stellar. We’re still excited to give it a shot this weekend. Link
