When it comes to custom motorcycles, most of the options we see are modern bikes that have been rebuilt to give them a more vintage style and feel. Luo Hao at China’s Mandrill Garage—arguably one of the best bike builders in Beijing—chooses to go in a completely different direction by taking bikes and infusing them with a fair bit of the futuristic. Case in point, the Mandrill Garage Power Street Triumph T100 Racer you see here. The donor bike was a 2014 Triumph T100 Cafe Racer, a classic in its own right, that Luo immediately set to transforming into the retro-future style bike you see here. The rear end was scrapped in favor of a single sided swingarm from a Ducati 1098. The spoke wheels were replaced with gold Ducati wheels. The peashooter exhaust was ripped off in favor of a hand-built titanium setup. Motogadget electronics were fitted throughout. It also got a cool front number plate, carbon fiber sideboards and enough lights to create perfect visibility. If this is what the future looks like, sign us up.
