The LUME Traveler fits the general idea of a camper trailer, but it’s a beast of a different sort. LUME founder Hein van de Laar does not like camping, but he does like being outside. In his words, “It was my dream to enjoy outdoor life with the comfort of home; to sleep under the stars in a top-notch bed, to cook outside with a full-fledged stove. And all of that in the most beautiful spots in nature. This dream is what led to the beautifully-designed LUME Traveler.” His vision was translated into reality with the LUME Traveler. The walls are clad in a wool felt that is dirt repellent. The comfy bed is backed by a supple leather wall that can also be used for storage. Sustainable, natural woods like teak can be found throughout. And when you’re enjoying the spacious bedroom, you don’t even have to worry about the ceiling ruining your view, because it’s an open roof with retractable Sunbrella fabric and an insect screen. The full outdoor living experience is completed when you raise the back of the trailer to expose the outdoor kitchen with cabinets, PITT Cooking gas burners and a 40-liter fridge.
