IKEA Is Bringing Back Some of Its Most Iconic Pieces

Grab your damn Allen wrench; it’s time to build some furniture. IKEA’s new GRATULERA collection is a celebration of the last 75 years of IKEA design. What does that mean to you? How about an opportunity to outfit your home with some of the most beloved IKEA products that, inexplicably, were cut from the rotation? The global launch happens this fall and will go down in three stages, with each stage representing a different IKEA era. The first will focus on the ’50s and ’60s, the second the ’70s and ’80s, and the third on the ’90s and ’00s. It’s your chance to cop side tables, lights, chairs, and more pieces from the IKEA graveyard, some of which have been updated with new colors and materials. Look for the first wave of products in August.
