This Thin Motorcycle Lets You Bypass Traffic

We’re always slightly jealous of motorcyclists who roll by when we’re sitting in traffic. Those nimble vehicles allow riders to travel between stopped cars, making red stretches on Google Maps less of a headache. Of course, sometimes even your standard motorcycle is too wide for such maneuvers. That’s where Benji Cafe Racers comes in. The shop recently completed a custom Yamaha SR400 that’s designed to split traffic. The “Lane Splitter 54,” boasts a new, trimmer subframe, which, in essence, took things in at the waist. There’s a new exhaust and intake that are equally slender, and a custom leather seat blends right into the body. Everything about the two-wheeler is compact and ideal for the 405.
