With its detachable controllers and go anywhere gameplay, it’s hard to believe the Nintendo Switch had any more tricks up its sleeve, but it does. Enter Nintendo Labo, the collection of DIY building kits that are part learning tool, part toy and a whole lot of fun. Like the “some assembly required” tools from your childhood, each kit comes with a collection of pre-cut cardboard, straps, strings and stickers that you’ll use to build all kinds of cool new accessories to house your switch while you play the new games on it. Want to go fishing? Done. How about building some cardboard RC cars? You can do that, too. There’s also a house, motorbike, a mini piano and, our personal favorite, a robot kit that actually allows you to virtually turn into a Transformer. Ostensibly Labo Toy-Con kits are built for kids, but we have a feeling all you moms and dads out there are going to be having just as much fun with these sets. Nintendo Labo kits will be available starting on April 20.
