With advances in technology, the way we consume entertainment will continue change. Trying to usher in the next change is Steven Soderbergh, who, with the help of HBO, has released MOSAIC, an app that presents a film in an entirely new way. The movie presented, which stars Sharon Stone, Garrett Hedlund, Jennifer Ferrin, and more, can be viewed from the perspective of a range of characters, so you get a more complete look at the scenes and motives. Then you can dive further in by reading emails exchanged by characters, police reports, and news clippings. You can even hear voicemails left for different characters. Instead of sitting back and watching the protagonist navigate whatever issue is presented, you’re immersed in the story. MOSAIC is only available on iOS and can be downloaded now.
