The New Google Pixel Buds Translate in Real Time

The New Google Pixel Buds Translate in Real Time

There were quite a few things revealed at the Google Pixel 2 event in San Francisco this week. If we’re being completely honest, the most revolutionary thing to us was a seemingly unassuming pair of earbuds because the new Google Pixel Buds translate in real time. Yes, you read that correctly. Google Pixel Buds do what we’ve been promised from other products for years—translate 40 different languages in real-time so you can converse with people almost anywhere without a language barrier. The earbuds are no slouch in the functionality and accessibility departments, either. 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, and a storage / charging case with enough extra juice to give you a full day’s worth of listening and translating. Pixel Buds have tap controls for device functions, swipe gestures for volume control and touch-and-hold Google Assistant support built into the right earbud. Google Pixel Buds will be released in November of this year, but you can join the waitlist right now to make sure you’ll have a pair of your own for holiday travel.
