TVR Returns With the Brand New Griffith

Independent British car manufacturing icon TVR has been producing some of the most interesting rides we’ve ever seen for around 70 years. They’ve gone through their fair share of nightmare business scenarios over the years, but that’s all in the past now. TVR is returning with the brand new Griffith. The first release from the storied brand since British businessman Les Edgar took over a few years ago is a collaborative effort with Gordon Murray Design and Bosworth that we’d love to own. The looks are true, old school TVR realized in a way that combines the looks of the Cerbera Speed 12, LFA and Viper. It looks fantastic, but what’s under the hood is just as great. Power comes from a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 from the Mustang that’s been Cosworth tuned to push 500 horsepower through a manual gearbox. The 200mph TVR Griffith is expected to launch in 2019.
