The Rider1991 Watch Was Inspired by Cafe Racers

Straight from Kiev, Ukraine, comes the new Rider1991 watch, a timepiece inspired by the bikes and the culture that surround café racers. The minimalistic dial design inspired by a motorcycle speedometer is divided into quarters with two completely clean spaces and hour markers opposite minute markers in the other two spaces. But the most interesting feature of this watch is probably also the first thing you noticed—the crown situated at 2 o’clock is set into the case to create one clean line all the way around the outside. In addition to being striking and unique, it will also prevent a standard crown at 3 o’clock from digging in to your hand when you’re riding. When it comes to options for the watch itself, they’re as plentiful as parts for bikes. The Rider1991 is available with a white or black dial with an aluminum inner ring brushed in silver black or rose gold. The 42mm 316L stainless case is always matte black coated, but straps are available in black or brown leather, a black Milanese mesh style or in a bunch of different NATO color options. The Rider1991 watch is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter with an estimated delivery date in December.
