The upcoming 2018 Trackhawk from Jeep is set to create a new class of SUV. It hits 60 in 3.5 seconds thanks to its 707 horsepower V8, the same engine as the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. It unseats the Grand Cherokee SRT as the fastest ride of its kind while retaining the ruggedness people have come to expect of the Jeep brand. There’s all-wheel-drive, an 8-speed transmission, adaptive shocks, and big wheels, with the option for lightweight, specialized alloys. This is the kind of vehicle you could take from tundra to forest to glacier and the only thing you’d need to do was make sure it has fuel.
