MAG-LEV Is the First Levitating Turntable

MAG-LEV Is the First Levitating Turntable

If you’d like to bring a little sorcery to your vinyl experience, consider making the MAG-LEV your new deck. The world’s first levitating turntable features a platter that spins in midair. While that’s a neat trick, and the reason you’d probably back the Kickstarter project, you’d also be getting just a solid record player. The MAG-LEV switches between 33 and 45 rpm with the touch of a button; boasts sensory regulating software that will make sure the magnetic levitation doesn’t give way to sped up, slowed down, or skipping music; and comes with a Pro-Ject 8.6 tonearm and Ortofon OM 5E cartridge. To enhance the visual appeal of the unique turntable, the team also built in orange lighting around the space a normal platter would sit. It looks so good, your guests might not even hear the music.
