Weather Now!
If you’re looking for a simple, materially designed, straight-to-the-point weather app for your Android device, you won’t do better than Weather Now!. With daily and weekly (5 and 7 day) forecasts, offline support, weather notifications and home screen widgets, Weather Now! gives you all the weather information you need to go about your day or plan a weekend trip.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Lightroom isn’t a brand spanking new app, but this update is so significant it’s still worth mentioning if you’re on an Apple device. The recent iOS 10 update finally unlocked the ability to shoot RAW direct from your phone, and Lightroom is one of the first third-party apps to support it. You need at least a 12MP camera (think 6S or better) and a bunch of storage space (each image can take up eight times more space), but you can finally end-to-end process in Adobe’s DNG format. iOS Android
Mr. Robot: 1.51exfiltrati0n
At this point, Mr. Robot can do no wrong in our eyes (OK, it did get a little rocky there for a bit, but whatever), and that applies to the Mr. Robot:1.51exfiltrati0n game as well. Designed and built to suck you further into the story from Season 1, you use a phone found outside Fun Society and the E-Corp messaging app to communicate with characters from the show as you quietly and immersively navigate the technological minefield that is the world of Mr. Robot.

Super Mario Run
While we were certainly impressed with the iPhone 7, Watch and iOS 10 releases during the Apple Keynote, Shigeru Miyamoto coming out to reveal Mario was making his way to the iPhone might have been our favorite part. Super Mario Run takes everyone’s favorite plumber through a familiar endless runner format with enough differences (sidescrolling, blocks that change direction, tap pressure changing jump height) to make it a completely different game. It’s currently up for notifications on the App Store, but the game will officially be released later. iOS
Callblock
While the tried and true “Telemarketer” contact entry (potentially with a preceding expletive) and block is effective enough, it requires getting the call, adding it to a contact and re-blocking. That’s a lot of work. Callblock created the world’s biggest directory of telemarketers to block calls from over 2,000,000 of them in 100+ countries. Your phone might never ring again, but that’s perfectly OK with us. iOS
Fabric
There are plenty of apps that allow you to track locations, create journal entries and even add photos, but Fabric combines all those features in a unique way. Billed as a “personal location-based journal,” Fabric uses your iPhone’s location features, accelerometer and step counter—along with Foursquare’s directory of public places—to automatically aggregate your entire day into a visualized journal of moments, people, places and miles. It’s a more robust Foursquare or Swarm that doesn’t require as much tapping on your part. iOS
Yes Chef
Siri can be helpful for basic conversions, reading recipes and setting timers when you’re in the kitchen, but she’s no chef. Yes Chef is a hands-free cooking app that will help you prepare a pretty fantastic meal from over 350,000 recipes while also mentally transporting you into the world of a professional kitchen. How do I make Ratatouille? What temperature do I set the oven to? What’s the next step? Yes Chef has all the answers. iOS
Outlook
If you have a Sunrise-sized hole where your favorite calendar app used to be, it’s actually worth investigating Outlook because the app finally has the things you miss. Sync with Facebook, Evernote and Wunderlist. Add your favorite team’s and TV shows schedules with Interesting Calendars. There are even new meeting icons to make scrolling through your events require less reading. Microsoft is getting closer to reviving the glory days of Sunrise Calendar, and this time it’s going cross-platform. iOS Android
