Tiny Arcade, produced by open source hardware company TinyCircuits out of Ohio, is producing retro arcade cabinets that are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Powered by a 32-bit ARM processor and housed in an acrylic, wood or 3D-printed enclosure, Tiny Arcade lets you play games like Tiny Invaders, 3D Attack (think Doom / Wolfenstein), Flappy Birdz and 3D Driving on a full-color OLED screen with an itty bitty analog joystick and push buttons. There’s even a built-in speaker and sticker packs for the full arcade cabinet experience. It’s going to take a little bit of time to get used to the tiny controllers, but since the games are all free all you need is practice.
