Google’s Lightsaber Escape Lets You Use Your Phone as a Lightsaber

There are plenty of cool Star Wars promos that have popped up leading to this week’s release of The Force Awakens, but Google, as they frequently do, has one-upped everyone with Lightsaber Escape. You’re an unnamed Jedi Knight armed with only a lightsaber that has to escape through waves of Stormtroopers… using your phone as your weapon. The only things you need to play are Chrome and a phone. Visit the below link to load the game, where you will also get a custom URL for your game. Type that URL in on your phone to begin lightsaber calibration. Once you’re done with that, you’ll be swinging your phone around like a lightsaber deflecting blaster shots to cap Stormtroopers left and right. In order to get the best experience (the really cool lightsaber noises, obviously) you need the volume up on your phone, which means you probably shouldn’t play when your boss is around.
