Failed nose grabs and poorly landed kickflips have littered the world with wrecked skateboards. Instead of letting those decks sit and die, Nick Pourfard gives them a second life-as guitars. Thanks to an industrial design background and skills as a self-taught woodworker, Pourfard takes wrecked decks and turns them into one-of-a-kind instruments. All are made by hand and take advantage of the colors of a board running all the way through to craft some fantastic designs. They look as good on display as they do while you’re fingerpicking your way through some classics.
