Motorman Is An Electric Moped With Retro Styling

Mopeds are convenient and easy, but they’re generally not cool… unless they’re the new Motorman from Dutch designer Ronald Meijs. Using vintage American classics as design references, Meijs crafted a light electric “motorbike” (there are no pedals) that is as easy to use as it is clean and good-looking. It’s light (99lbs), easy to use (supposedly easier to ride than an actual bicycle), and will get you up to 43 miles at a top speed of 28mph before requiring a recharge in the range of 6 hours. It won’t replace your current ride for long distances, but the range is enough for most people’s daily commute, assuming, of course, you live in Europe. It’s currently only approved for all EU countries (plus Switzerland and Norway), but there are plans to bring it to the US soon.
