From late night karaoke sessions to cover band encores, the importance and influence of Led Zeppelin requires absolutely no explanation. They’re estimated to have sold between 200 and 300 million units worldwide. They’re one of the top five best-selling music artists in the US. Every album has hit Top 10. They’re in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2014, Jimmy Page started remastering the original album tapes for release on 180-gram vinyl and CD. Each album is being re-released in the highest qualty it’s ever been pressed, but there are also Deluxe and Super Deluxe Box Sets available that include bonus material like alternate mixes, unreleased tracks, album prints and hardbound books. Led Zeppelin I-IV and Houses of the Holy are already available, and the rest of the albums will be available soon. If you own a record player, or if you like Led Zeppelin, you should probably pick these up. Hell, it might even be worth buying a record player just for these.
