Which came first, the earliest iWatch rumor or the creation of the Model T? After hearing about a possible iWatch for some time, it’s finally here. Apple Watch ditches the “i” branding and introduces an entirely new interface. Apple wanted to make a splash here, and they seriously did. It features a touchscreen display that senses force so tapping and clicking are two different things (there’s also a “digital crown” for other navigation), the display itself turns on as you raise your wrist to look at it, and you can do so much with it— respond to texts, check out and zoom in on maps, get notifications from Facebook and other social media outlets, use Siri, run plenty of apps, and lots more. The flexible retina display looks stunning, and it’s available in three different models—Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition. There’s also a great focus on fitness with a workout app, heartbeat monitor, and integration with your iPhone’s GPS for extra usability. It comes out early next year and will work with iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, and the new 6 and 6 Plus. Honestly, we only scratched the surface here of how impressive it is. Your move, Switzerland.
