The World’s First Unstealable Bike

Sometimes we walk down the street and it looks like a bicycle graveyard. A random wheel attached to a pole, a frame picked bare, and a mess of chains are just some of the remnants of people’s rides we’ve seen far too often. A new bike in the works dubbed the Yerka Project is set to make stolen bikes a thing of the past. The bike lock is actually the frame of the bike. The seat post can be removed and used to securely lock the bike in less than 20 seconds, so the only way to steal the bike would be to break it. It also means you don’t have to lug around a cumbersome lock every time you ride. Hopefully we’ll see it in the not too distant future.
