Office buildings are always struggling to define themselves and when they finally achieve it, most of the time it’s after a multi-million dollar renovation. But sometimes, with a little creativity and budgeting, you can get a distinctive facade without spending the GDP of a small island nation. CHYBIK+KRISTOF did exactly that with furniture company MY DVA’s own products, using 900 of MY DVA’s plastic chairs to decorate the outside of their office building. It’s an attention-grabbing front that also shows customers one of MY DVA’s more durable products. On the inside, the building was divided into an office space and showroom. In the showroom, after the exterior has caught your eye, customers can explore MY DVA’s school furniture, office furniture, and some of their designer pieces. No word on whether or not you can just pick your favorite chair off the outside wall, but we’re guessing not.
