Zodiac’s Super Sea Wolf line of dive watches is one of the most recognizable in the industry. Now, they’re adding stealthy ceramic to the mix. Although it’s not a true solid ceramic watch, instead opting for ceramic coated stainless steel, it shows that the brand is using upscale materials for its watches. Instead of a colorful summer watch, Zodiac is going dark. The use of a ceramic coating makes the watch pretty tough while keeping costs much lower than solid ceramic would call for. The 44mm case and bezel get the ceramic treatment, and the blue sunburst dial adds subtle contrast, along with the light grey minute track. Timekeeping duties fall upon the STP 1-11 mechanical automatic movement. It also has a 200-meter depth rating, sapphire glass, Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers, and an Italian rubber tropic dive strap. The watch is limited to 500 units, and it just sold out.
