Vaer Automatic Watches

The Vaer brand started back in 2015 in Los Angeles by a couple of guys who wanted to create a well-made classic everyday timepiece that would look just as good with a nylon Nato strap as it did with a handsome leather band, and they wanted it to be affordable. Since then, Vaer has made a handful of quartz models that fit the original notion behind the brand, and every model has a 100-meter depth rating, a tough anti-reflective-coated sapphire crystal, display caseback, Swiss movement, and two straps. The 40mm diameter Vaer Automatic is a perfectly-sized field/military-style timepiece that can be outfitted with either a Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement or a Swiss ETA 2824 automatic movement. It’s also only 9mm thick, which means the sizing is just right to fit under a dress shirt cuff.
