If you’re a die-hard watch fan and also happen to love Star Wars Stormtroopers’ black-and-white colorway, you’d have to either settle for gimmicky watches or upgrade to the $2,700 Oris Aquis Stormtrooper dive watch. However, now there’s a new Stormtrooper king-of-the-hill that trumps all, this $129,000 Urkwerk EMC has been dressed up with white ceramic with a black dial, trim, and strap. The Urwkerk founders just happen to be big sci-fi fans, having created C3PO and Millennium Falcon versions of their watches. The watch is powered by Electro-Mechanical Control, or EMC, which is a mechanical movement powered by an electronic circuitboard. It’s a truly special setup, along with an asymmetric case and a bullhead-style crown. It’s also not a small watch since it measures 43mm wide by 51mm tall, and the style demands a big presence, anyway. Only five of them will be made, but even if they sell out, you can use the money to buy a white and black Porsche 911 Carrera 4S for about the same price.
