Union Glashütte Noramis Date L.E. Deutschland Klassik 2023

Union Glashütte Noramis Date L.E. Deutschland Klassik 2023

There are racing chronographs like the TAG Heuer Carrera and automotive-themed timepieces such as the Breitling Top Time B01 Classic Cars Series, but the Union Glashütte Noramis Date L.E. Deutschland Klassik 2023 is something else, entirely. The German-made watch focuses on a singular car part, the famous Otto Fuchs wheel, made famous for its appearance on the Porsche 911s of yesteryear. The simple but bold Fuchs is widely considered to be one of the most iconic wheels ever made. The Noramis Date Limited Edition Deutschland Klassik 2023 unapologetically makes the entire dial show off the Fuchs wheel. The wheel’s brushed metal is raised off the black dial, and there are screws that mimic wheel lugs near the hub. Timekeeping duties come by way of a Swiss ETA 2892-based UNG-07.S1 with 60 hours of power reserve. The watch measures 40mm wide and 10.4mm thick, capped off with domed sapphire glass on the front and the same material on the display back where you can see the Union-signed rotor. It’s a unique watch that any Porsche or car lover would be proud to wear.
