Count on Hodinkee to deliver a timepiece with its namesake that isn’t a luxury piece. Instead, it’s a great mix of playful and iconic. It builds on the affordable Swatch mechanical SISTEM51 and adds a new green case and strap with a navy dial that’s peppered with grey, lime green, and light pink accents on the unique and bold California-style dial that has only been used on one other Swatch model, the Stirling Rush GX407. The watch also boasts a beautiful display back that showcases the movement, as well as an “H” for Hodinkee border. Although the watch isn’t numbered, it is limited in production. This might just be the right and appropriately joyful holiday timepiece to mark the end of a rough year.
