Seiko have outdone themselves by delivering the first GMT movement in its value-driven Seiko 5 Sports lineup. the Seiko 5 Sports GMT Series consists of three different styles: a black dial with a black bezel (SSK001), a blue dial with a Batman (blue and black) bezel (SSK003), and an orange dial with a black bezel (SSK005). The SSK001 and SSK003 have a red GMT hand, while the SSK005 has a black one. All of them have the 4R34 automatic GMT movement that allows for the fourth GMT hand to operate. Other features include Hardlex mineral crystal, a classic Jubilee bracelet, a cyclops date window, and the crown situated at the 4 o’clock position for excellent wrist comfort. The 42.5mm case means it’s not to be nor too small, just like the $495 asking price. The watches go on sale this July.
