Timex is crushing the vintage style quotient with its Q Timex series, and their latest is more dressy than the rest of the lineup. The Q Marmont is a reissue of a 1975 model that’s rife with Hollywood leading man style. The gold plated stainless steel cushion case is a conservative 38mm and 13mm tall (due to the domed crystal), making it just right under a shirt cuff. There’s a day/date complication at the 3 o’clock with framing that matches the baton hands and markers. Flip it over, and you’ll find easy battery access via the hatch. The croc-print black leather strap is the right complement, and the sub $200 price is a bargain of a price.
