Now, luxury watchmaker Panerai has created the military-inspired Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech LE that’s made from Panerai’s proprietary carbon-composite. The big 47mm timepiece is powered by the in-house Panerai P.9010 automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve. Complementary army-green coloring shows up on the bezel, hands, markers, and the dive-worthy strap. The 33-unit, limited-production watch is also accompanied by training sessions with Italy’s elite diving unit, the Comando Subaquei Ed Incursori, so you’ll have some toughness to balance out your apparent wealth. For roughly half the cost of the green version, you can opt for more traditional coloring and zero physical exertion.
