What’s Thermoresin? We asked the same thing. And according to Movado it’s a “coating for optimized protection for all your active pursuits.” We’re not sure that alone qualifies this watch for such a hefty price tag, but the other features – which include precise Swiss-Quartz movement; a performance stainless steel case and bezel; Thermoresin strap with fold-over clasp with safety; subdials for 1/10 second, 60 second, and 30 minute; and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal – make the cost almost bearable. Almost.
